The Eightfold Path includes eight practices of liberation and freedom from suffering. In this episode, Buddhist scholar and meditation teacher Gil Fronsdal presents each element of The Noble Eightfold Path and how it relates to our daily living. About Gil Fronsdal

Gil Fronsdal has practiced extensively in Soto Zen and Theravada Buddhism training in the US, Japan, Thailand, and Burma.  He teaches at the Insight Meditation Center, the Insight Retreat Center, and Spirit Rock Meditation Center.  He earned his Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies at Stanford, and his books include translations of the Dhammapada and the Book of Eights (Aṭṭhakavagga). For the last fifteen years he has also been involved in training Buddhist chaplains and spiritual care providers. He is married and the father of two sons, and he lives in California.
